You've WON Surface. I accept defeat. I accepted it about 3 pages ago. You are spot on, this is just hindsight, we were right to sell him, we've been rock solid since, no one said we shouldn't have sold him at the time.

He didn't follow it up. He basically said he'd had one good half season (when he finally got back in the team) after a bad first season and a half.
So, it was such a SHIT decision that in the season following his sale, even his admirers admit he was poor.
